| Difficulty | Easy for high clearance vehicles. Deep ruts may prevent cars. Once back there you will find different places in the lavas to take your rig with varying degree of difficulty. |

| Comments | Lava road is just off baseline road west of Shelly, ID. It follows the power line across the lava flow. When you get to the trailhead coordinates (above) you will be taking a left off the main road and heading onto a two tracker that will take you back into the flow. HINT: Try punching in the coordinates on google earth. See picture below. |
