| Comments | 17 mile cave is almost exactly 17 miles west of the intersection of Bellin and Broadway in Idaho Falls, on the Arco Highway (Hwy 20) on the south side of the road. It is about 150 feet behind the Elephant Hunters sign. The openeing is a depression in the ground. Watch for snakes at the opening. Please pack out any garbage that careless visitors have left. Bring a jacket and watch your step! It is an easy trek and adults can stand up inside. |
