In the foothills east of Idaho Falls there used to be a water park. I first heard of this place about 15 years ago and took my metal detector up there. It was very obvious that I was the only one who had thought to detect up there. I remember not being able to swing my detector without it sounding off. I think I brought around $40 in dropped coin out of there. One of my favorite finds was a class ring. What a great summer that was.

Now days I still go up every now and then but the buildings are torn down, the slide is gone and it is very overgrown. You can hardly see the miniature golf area. I am sure there are a lot of coin and jewelry still up there. The view is spectacular and the road to the gps coordinates is mostly paved.
